Buying gifts are sooooo expensive. It is super hard these days to buy gifts for just about everyone.
On a low budget or need to get a quick gift for someone. Here is how it’s done:
For men:
What you will need:
- 1 mini bottle of johnny walker black
- 1 mini bottle of appleton rum (reserve or signature)
- 1 flask of coconut rum/appleton white rum
- 2 small cake plate (coloured or designed and preferably plastic)
- 1 sheet of gift tissue paper
- 1 pair of scissors
- 1 sheet or 1 yard of cellophane paper (any design)
- 1 yard of ribbon
- Optional: 2 small peanuts
DIY:
- Lay cellophane paper on a flat surface. Use plates as gift’s base and place in the middle of the paper. (Click to see an example)
- Fold the tissue paper until it’s about 3 inches in length. Cut in straight lines and use your hands to crimp the paper. Add 3/4 of the paper on the plates set as a base.
- Place the bottles upright and facing 1 direction. (For more visual appeal face the bottles with their backs to each other)
- In the 2 opposites gaps facing the front on your plates place your peanuts facing outward.
- Gather the cellophane paper into one above the bottles and leave a small gap. Sprinkle the rest of the tissue paper in the gap.
- Close off the gap by wrapping 1yrd/2yrds of the ribbon around the opening multiple times until around 4 inches is left. Use the other half and wrap around the same opening and knot it on the first half.
- Use the scissors to curl the ribbon.
- Diagonally cut top of the cellophane to make it more presentable and you’re finished.
