How to self-publish your own book

Have you ever wanted to publish your own book??? Whether it be a daring romance novel, a mysterious fiction e-book or an action-filled paperback, but, you don’t know how. Don’t worry I got you with the know-how and believe me it is quite easy if you follow my steps.

Please note, I used the same steps for my books with Kindle Direct Publishing, which is on Amazon’s Platform

Here’s your quick summary for E-book publishing:

1. Type your next bestseller out in Microsoft Word.
2. Edit your book in Microsoft Word.
3. Start your own self-publish Amazon account
4. For E-books click here (Sign in with your regular Amazon account log-in).
5. For E-book I used the Kindle Create App from amazon to edit again. (Trust me you will need to edit it again, it shows up differently in the app). Download it here for PC/Mac If you don’t want to edit your book I can do it for you for an inexpensive cost, message me.
6. Upload it in KDP, which is Amazon Publishing and continue through out the process.
7. For book covers for both E-book and paperback you can use Cover Create. If you are using your own design for E-book read the instructions here (Cover Create has limited designs and flexibility).
8. Bring your book through the process.

Here’s your quick summary for Paperback publishing:

1. Type your next bestseller out in Microsoft Word.
2. Edit your book in Microsoft Word.
3. Start your own self-publish Amazon account.
4. For paperbacks click here (Sign in with your regular Amazon account log-in).
5. Before uploading to the KDP site check this link for your book size preference. This way you can edit your document to factor in full page pictures (bleed), size of the book you may want to be printing and if the book is in black and white or colour. If you don’t want to edit your book I can do it for you for an inexpensive cost, message me.
6. After selecting your options and have finished editing, save your word document in pdf format.
7. For book covers for both E-book and paperback you can use Cover Create. If you are using your own design for Paperback read the instructions here. Created my book cover myself. Another book I had used their services but it’s limited.
8. Upload it in KDP, which is Amazon Publishing and continue through out the process.
